Cooking Courses
The Al San Giovenale of Orvieto runs Mini Cookery Courses its premises.
These are pleasant get-togethers aimed at those who have a passion for cooking and want to learn a few tips, as well as at those who want to learn something more about the utensils and ingredients we find in our everyday lives.

Each class begins with a theoretical and historical introduction to the dishes before going onto the practical stage where the dishes are completed in full.
Our courses aim to illustrate the culinary traditions of Umbria, offering a simple and direct way of bringing out your creative streak through typical Italian cooking.
The courses follow the age-old traditions of local cooking combined with top quality ingredients, so that guests will be able to repeat the dishes back home for their friends.
1) Pasta Day ( + lunch or dinner)
Home made past (umbrichelli, lasagne, gnocchi) with classic regional sauces such as Amatriciana, Arrabbiata, Ragů etc.).
2) Pizza Day ( + lunch or dinner)
Ingredients - demonstration – dough methods – stuffing – cooking.
3) Dessert Day ( + dessert tasting session)
Short bakery course featuring ingredients, doses, preparation, cooking methods for cakes, biscuits and chocolate.
