Tasting of Typical products
The Al San Giovenale of Orvieto restaurant runs special tasting menus where the combination of wines with particular dishes has been studied to the highest level.
Local dishes that have been reinterpreted by our chef will be combined with the particular bouquet of some of Umbria’s finest labels for a heightening of the flavours of both.
The history, ingredients and procedures used for each dish will be illustrated.
The subtle sensorial leitmotif of each tasting session will offer guests a truly authentic sample of the unique combination of flavours that can be conjured up by fine local wines when combined with the traditional food of this region.
